Have some old car, pickup, or motorcycle tires that you need to get rid of? North Salina Community Development (NSCD) can help!

The organization dedicated to North Town is sponsoring a free tire collection that is open to residents of Saline County.

The event is scheduled for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the vacant lot north of Dairy Queen, 321 N. Ninth Street.

Following are the guidelines for the collection, according to North Salina Community Development.

 <li>Drivers will be required to sign in and show proof of Saline County residency.</li><li>There will be a 20-tire limit per household. Only car, motorcycle, and pickup tires will be accepted. All rims must be removed.</li><li>No tires will be accepted from commercial or retail businesses.</li><li>Everyone will help unload their own tires.</li>
