Robert Lee Oaks, 79, of Salina, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. He was born March 28, 1942 in Brinkley, Arkansas.
Robert retired from JCPenney, after working 32 years as a warehouse supervisor.
Robert was an outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garden. Robert was also a member of the Allen Chapel AME Church for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents William C. and Erma (Walton) Oaks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Juanita (Davis) Oaks; sons Brian (Dawn) Oaks, Darrin Oaks, both of Salina; grandsons Trenton Oaks, Brandon Oaks; sisters Ingrid (Brian) Dale of Oelwein, IA, Rita Oaks of Salina, Lisa Oaks of Oelwein, IA; brothers William Oaks Jr. of Salina, Stanley Oaks of Salina, Sebastian Oaks of Salina, and Evan Oaks of Tulsa, OK.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
