
Jamie Leah Glahn, 51, of Gypsum, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2020, surrounded by family at her home in Gypsum. She was a labor and delivery nurse at Salina Regional Health Center.
Jamie was born on October 8, 1969, in Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Robert Edward and Linda Jo (Hellebust) Scheopner. She graduated from Herington High School in 1988. She went on to study at Kansas State University and received a Bachelor’s of Nursing from Baker University in 1992. On August 8, 2001, Jamie was united in marriage to Gary Dean Glahn in Roxbury.
She was a member of Roxbury United Parish.
Survivors include: her husband, Gary; three daughters, Megan Satran (Curtis) of WaKeeney, KS, Paige Nurnberg (Brett) of Spring Hill, KS, and Becca Glahn of Gypsum, KS; a granddaughter, Laurel Satran and a grandson on the way; a sister, Beth Mauer (Shayne) of Topeka, KS; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Glahn of Gypsum, KS; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Scheopner and Linda Boyle, and a brother, Brad Scheopner.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Valley View Center, Roxbury, with Pastor Nancy Modin officiating. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear masks, social distance, and are welcome to bring lawn chairs.
