
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released their week five girl's basketball rankings following the first full week of hoops in the new year.
The Salina Central Lady Mustangs retained their spot on the 5A ladder this week, staying at the #2 spot behind St. Thomas Aquinas.
With a split on the week, the Southeast of Saline Lady Trojans fell three spots to #10 in Class 3A.
The Ell-Saline Lady Cardinals also dropped a spot, falling to #8 in Class 2A this week.
This week's lone change at the top comes from Class 4A where Wamego replaces Bishop Meige as the #1 team in the state.
