A teen was cited after a one-vehicle wreck early this morning at Salina High School Central.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that a 15-year-old boy was speeding through the parking lot near the stadium at approximately 5:40 a.m. Monday when when failed to negotiate a left turn and crashed a 2009 Ford Escape into a metal fence with a brick pillar attached.
The teen was not injured, Forrester said. The Escape had front passenger-side damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The boy was cited for reckless driving, Forrester said.
