WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan's Aidan Richmond (JR/North Richland Hills, Texas) has been selected as the KCAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her efforts for the Coyotes last week. The KCAC Player of the Week program is selected by a vote of conference sports information directors and is presented at the conference level by Equity Bank.
Richmond posted her lowest round score of the season with a 75 in the second round of the loaded Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, which featured two nationally ranked teams in Oklahoma City, Texas Wesleyan, and solid teams in Bellevue and Wayland Baptist.
Richmond's 153 was her low tournament of the season and she was the top KCAC finisher at the event.
KWU placed seventh at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University last week.
The Coyotes are preparing for the KCAC Championships next week at Mariah Hills in Dodge City. KWU is the 2-time defending conference champion in the event.
