A local dealership is out a $76,000 pickup after a person using someone else's identity purchased the vehicle online.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that both Long McArthur, Inc., of Salina, and Ally Financial, of Maryland, were victims in the fraudulent purchase of a 2019 Ford F150 Raptor that was made earlier this month.

The real person whose identity was fraudulently used lives in Gulfport, Miss., Forrester said. That person notified Long McArthur of the fraudulent purchase.
