MITCHELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8 a.m. Sunday in Mitchell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by. Trevor Matthew Doyle, 18, Beloit, was northbound on 290th at K Road.
The car's passenger side tires left the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The car entered the west ditch, continued northbound in the west ditch, crossed K road, struck the ditch on the north side of K road and over turned onto its top.
EMS transported Doyle to the hospital in Beloit. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
