Goessel - Kate Hiebert, 68, passed away October 23, 2021 at her residence in Newton. She was born March 13, 1953 in Conde, South Dakota to Earl and Wendella Arlene (Bouman) Hatfield. She married Calvin Hiebert November 19, 1988 in Hillsboro. 

Survivors include: daughters Robyn (Tony) Hawpe of Newton, Debra (William) McCauley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Jessey (Tera) Hiebert of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren; brothers Ted and Oliver; sisters Connie, Arlene, and Patricia.

 Predeceased by her husband Calvin Hiebert in 2017; and son Shannon Hink in 2010. 

Celebration of Life 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro officiated by Rev. Donna Voteau. Committal service Thursday at Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery, rural Lehigh. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
