The Salina Art Center today kicked off its Open Studio program.
The kickoff, until 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, is at the Salina Art Center Warehouse Education Studio, 149 S. Fourth Street.
Salina Art Center Warehouse Education Studio is a place for everyone to create art. Creators can bring and work with their materials at no cost or use specialty equipment for a small monthly or annual membership fee.
The Warehouse is staffed with helpful creators to support new and seasoned art makers. Specialty equipment available includes ceramics studio, printing press, papermaking equipment, and more.
Everyone is welcome to play with clay, tour the studio, and discover ways to make art at the Warehouse during the free kickoff weekend!
Beyond the kickoff, Open Studio hours are as follows.
Sunday and Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Wednesday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday and Friday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
