A bit of a warm up will change precipitation over to rain by mid Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
Showers are expected into early Thursday afternoon.
There could be moderate to heavy rainfall with rainfall totals of one to three inches. Locally higher amounts are possible. The higher amounts will be across southern Kansas. Minor flooding may occur.
