Courtney Lynn Frobenius, 74, of Parkville, MO., passed away April 11, 2022. He was born April 11, 1948, in Hays, KS.
Courtney Lynn Frobenius, dutifully served in the infantry of the U.S Army during the Vietnam war. In his years of service, he received five valor awards, the Silver Star, three Bronze Stars with “V” Device, and an Army Commendation medal with “V” Device. He was also awarded a Combat Infantrymen’s Badge, Airborne Wings, Ranger Tab, and the Purple Heart. Courtney has made it known that the greatest honor he received was being commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Infantry when he was just 19 years old.
After the Vietnam War, he graduated from Wichita State University, and managed airports. After managing airports, he spent 10 years as an owner of an advertising company, “Frobenius and Associates.” He established Vietnam-Indochina Tours in 1994, which took veterans and others to Vietnam and the Indochina region.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce R., and Charline L. (Utt) Frobenius.
Survivors include his daughter Juliana Ramage and husband, Brandon, of Bisbee, AZ., two brothers, Richard Frobenius of California, and Charles Frobenius of Alaska, and two grandchildren, Magnus Ramage and Ambrose Ramage.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, June 20, 2022, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
