Saline County law enforcement worked a single-vehicle incident where a semi was overturned.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, on August 13 at 6:32 pm, deputies were dispatched to I-70 near Kipp Road for a report of an overturned semi resting on its side.
Reportedly, a 2027 Mack truck was going eastbound and pulling a trailer loaded with 13 pallets of dietary supplements. It was carrying a several-thousand-pound load going from Colorado to Kentucky that was overturned due to high winds.
The semi was partially off the road when it was overturned. It was towed from the scene
The driver, a 51-year-old male suffered minor injuries
He was transported to a local motel by a deputy.
