UPDATE: Two small earthquakes shake Dickinson County

UPDATE 7 p.m. Saturday: A second earthquake struck Dickinson County Saturday, this time in the far south-central part of the county.

A 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck at 4:25 p.m. Saturday southwest of Hope. The quake was centered just north of the Dickinson County/Marion County line between Lark Road and Key Road.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck at 11:06 a.m. Saturday southwest of Woodbine. The quake was centered just north of 1000 Avenue between Trail Road and Sage Road.
