ASSARIA - A minor earthquake rattled part of southern Saline County Friday evening.
According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.2 magnitude quake struck northwest of Assaria at 7:28 p.m. Friday. It was centered west of S. Centennial Road between W. Salemsborg Road and W. Falun Road.
