SALINA, KAN. - Voting remains strong this election cycle.

"We have seen strong interest," Saline County Elections Clerk Tammy Arnold told the Salina Post this week. "Early voting numbers are strong. We are changing our Saturday voting hours. We will only be open 8-noon on Saturday because of the President Trump visit."

Arnold says as of Wednesday afternoon, 4,037 people have early cast ballots during early voting. Mail in ballots will be tallied the night of the election on the third.

"We have had over one-thousand mail in ballots requested this time," said Arnold. "We are showing 1,515 mail in ballots have gone out so that is a pretty normal number for mail ins on general election."
