ABILENE - Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans at work for a  Jeans Day fundraiser on Fridays throughout the month of May.

Employees make a donation, of at least $5, and are allowed to wear blue jeans at work.

A total donation of $600 was presented to the Abilene Public Swimming Pool. The money is to go towards paying the admission fee for kids to swim this summer.

The monthly Jeans Day fundraiser is organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.
