Now that summer school has begun, school zone lights will be active in two parts of town through July 1.
Earlier today, summer school began at Cottonwood Elementary School, 215 S. Phillips Avenue, and Sunset Elementary School, 1510 W. Republic Avenue.
The schedule is as follows.
During the above times, the reduced speed school zones around the two schools will be enforced, according to information from the City of Salina.
The remainder of the reduced speed school zones in Salina will not be enforced until the 2022-2023 school year begins in August.
