UPDATE 7 p.m. Monday: Here's an updated look at the severe weather risk for Tuesday evening through Tuesday night across central and eastern Kansas, according to the National Weather Service in Wichita.&nbsp;

Severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night across portions of central and south-central Kansas, mainly along and west of Interstate 135, according to the National Weather Service in Wichita.

 The main threat will be locally damaging wind gusts. 

A few strong storms could also affect the Flint Hills and southeast Kansas late in the night.
