WICHITA, Kan. – Kansas Wesleyan Men's Track and Field finished fourth at the KCAC Championships on Thursday and Friday at Adair Austin Stadium, hosted by Friends University.
Jake Cruz was the KCAC Champion in the 10000m with a time of 31:38.54 and Mauricio Mendez was ninth in 33:39.71.
Kean Dinkel was second in the 100m with a time of 10.35 seconds, hitting the NAIA B Standard for the event. Kristian Paronto was sixth with a time of 10.54 seconds.
In the 200m Kristian Paronto was fourth with a time of 21.43 seconds. Kean Dinkel was seventh with a time of 23.50 seconds.
In the 400m Austin Hash was fifth with a time of 49.25 seconds and Andrew Smith was 25th with a time of 53.41.
In the 800m Logan Topp was fifth with a time of 1:58.72, Triston Cottone was sixth with a time of 1:59.22, Jude Nelson was seventh with a time of 2:00.04, Barke Bapeng Jr. was 12th in 2:01.23, Brady Oliver was 14th in 2:01.61, Trace Sump was 17th in 2:03.19 and Nicolas Martinez was 21st in 2:04.25.
In the 1500m, Evan Pearce was fifth in 4:02.85, Barulio Torres was eighth in 4:04.75, Luke Adams was 11th in 4:10/27, Austin Shaeffer was 12th in 4:11.83, Cohen Greve was 20th in 4:24.34, Efrain Santibanez was 23rd in 4:26.64 and Will Childers was 27th in 4:38.35.
Austin Schaeffer was fourth in the 5000m with a time of 15:22.06, Jake Cruz was ninth in 15:32.78 and Ethan Ochana was 13th in 16:02.40. DeJaylon Beal was 29th in the 400m hurdles in 61.69 and Riley Garcia was 22nd in 61.39.
Evan Pearce was second in the Steeplechase with a NAIA B Standard time of 9:19.63, Ethan Ochana was ninth in 10:00.49, Luke Adams was 10th in 10:19.72, Will Childers was 13th in 10:42.64 and Efrain Santibanez was 16th in 11:09.01.
The 4x100m relay team of DeJaylon Beal, Kean Dinkel, Austin Hash and Kristian Paronto was fourth with a time of 41.54 seconds.
The 4x400m relay team of Triston Cottone, Jude Nelson, Austin Hash and Trace Sump was fourth with a time of 3:25.23.
The 4x800m relay team of Nicolas Martinez, Jude Nelson, Triston Cottone and Braulio Torres was third in 7:53.96.
Xavier Solis was eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.88m.
Kristian Paronto was seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.73m and Mann Scott was 14th with a mark of 6.08m.
Xavier Solis was fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.71m and Mann Scott was 10th with a mark of 12.41m.
Keegan Lott was sixth in the shot put with a mark of 15.33m and Jamar Armstrong was 21st with a mark of 11.56m.
Keegan Lott was fifth in the discus with a mark of 45.44m, Dylan Marks was 10th with a mark of 41.28m and Justin Barker was 21st with a mark of 31.51m.
Dylan Marks was fourth in the hammer with a mark of 50.15m, Keegan Lott was seventh in 46.80m, Justin Barker was 15th in 38.68m and Austin Baird was 22nd in 31.81m.
