Approximately $2,000 in damage was done to storage buildings in west-central Salina late last week.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrest said this morning that sometime between noon on Friday and 12:45 p.m. Saturday, someone removed screws and attempted to rip the sheet metal from storage buildings in the 500 block of S. Clark Street.
Damage was estimated at $2,000.
