KANSAS CITY — The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced the schedule for the 2022 Challenge Cup Semifinals on May 4, with the Kansas City Current hosting the club’s first ever playoff appearance against the North Carolina Courage at 7:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park.
The match will be broadcast on Paramount+.
Single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday.
The Kansas City Current clinched the Central Division in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup Sunday afternoon with a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Red Stars, finishing the round robin portion of the tournament with a 4-1-1 record. Kansas City was led by forwards Kristen Hamilton with four goals and Elyse Bennett with a league-leading four assists.
