LINDSBORG - If you're looking for something to do Saturday morning, check out the Snowflake Parade in Lindsborg.
"'A small parade in a small town that welcomes families and lighthearted fun' is a great description of the Snowflake Parade! Don't just come and watch, plan to be part of the fun. All snowflakes, Christmas bells, snowmen, reindeer, tomtes and ugly sweater-wearers welcome!" the Lindsborg Convention & Visitors Bureau noted in its December Posten.
Parade participants are asked to line up in front of Bethany Lutheran Church, 320 N. Main Street.
The parade, down Main Street, is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
After the parade, select businesses plan to have "take and make" ornaments for children, while supplies last.
Additionally, Trinity United Methodist Church, 224 S. Main Street, plans to serve a pulled pork lunch from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. The eat-in or take-out, free-will donation meal is to include the following.
A pulled pork sandwich
Coleslaw
Baked beans
Homemade apple crisp
Iced tea or coffee
Funds raised through the lunch will be used for church projects.
