Girls game: Sacred Heart (3-4, 0-2) vs. Beloit/St. John's-Tipton (3-3)

Sacred Heart will look to even its record at .500 following a home loss to Minneapolis on Tuesday night. The Lady Knights will host a non-league matchup against Beloit/St. John's-Tipton Thursday night.

"St. John/Beloit is athletic. They guard well. They have good full court pressure. On offense, they move well without the basketball," Sacred Heart head coach Carl Hines said.

Coach Hines has his eye on a particular player on the Blue Jays roster.

"(Carlie Brummer) is a playmaker that will have our attention," Coach Hines continued. "We have to make (her) work for everything she gets and rebound well. We need to play with pace, but still be under control and socialized with the basketball."

Tip-off for the girl’s game is set for 6:00 pm from the Sacred Heart Gym.

Boys game: Sacred Heart (7-0, 2-0) vs. Beloit-St. John's-Tipton (4-2)

The Sacred Heart boys remain unbeaten at 7-0 as they welcome Beloit/St. John's-Tipton to Salina.

The Knights will expect another physical, fast-paced game.

"They're a scrappy bunch," Sacred Heart head coach Brian Gormley said of the Blue Jays. "We've played them the last four years and that's what everybody says about them. They're scrappy."

Tip-off for the boy’s game is set for 7:30 pm from the Sacred Heart Gym.
