A truck was reportedly on fire along a Saline County road on Tuesday evening.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on July 14 at 8:00 pm, a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Jennifer Taylor, 40, of Salina was heading south on Old 81 highway when the driver noticed a fire in the bed of her truck.
Rural Fire District 7 responded and extinguished the fire.
The cause of the fire was determined to be from a BBQ grill that still had warm coals from a cookout earlier in the day.
The truck was a total loss, estimating at $12,000
No injuries were reported.
