NWS issues dense fog advisories for counties in our area tonight

Dense fog advisories are in effect tonight for counties in our area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

Marion County

McPherson County

Saline County

Visibilities may be reduced to one-quarter mile or less at times tonight.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

NWS in Wichita also has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

Ellsworth County

Lincoln County

Visibility of one quarter mile or less are possible.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

NWS in Hastings, Neb., has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

Jewell County

Mitchell County

Visibility of one-quarter to one-half mile is possible.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

NWS in Topeka has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 3 a.m. Thursday for Dickinson County.

Visibility may be less than one-quarter mile.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Additionally, NWS in Topeka has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 3 a.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

Cloud County

Ottawa County

Republic County

Visibility may be less than one-quarter mile.
