Coyote men's tennis loses to Texas A&M – Texarkana

Kansas Wesleyan men's tennis came up short against Texas A&M – Texarkana in a 7-0 decision on Saturday at Salina Central High School.

TAMUT swept all three doubles matches to win the doubles point.

Alejandro Oviedo and Alberto Cabrillo beat Shingi Chingaya (JR/Wylie, Texas) and Wes Robertson (FR/Edmond, Okla.) 6-0; Kevin Tsati-onla and Gonzalo Vega beat Caleb Carter (JR/Oklahoma City, Okla.) and Brandon Sherman (FR/Overland Park, Kan.) 6-0; and Fernando Martinez and Felipe de la Carrera beat Christian Wright and Eli Truhe (JR/Salina, Kan.) 6-1.

The Eagles also won all six singles matches.

Oviedo beat Robertson 6-4, 6-1; Cabrillo beat Chingaya 6-0, 6-0; Tsati-onla beat Cater 6-2, 6-1; Vega beat Truhe 6-0, 6-0; Martinez beat Sherman 6-0, 6-0; and de la Carrera beat Wright 6-0, 6-2.

Up next for the Coyotes is a match against Baker on Saturday in Lawrence.
