
Robert W. “Bob” Gould, 91, of Salina, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Kenwood View Nursing Home.
Mr. Gould was born Robert Wesley Gould to Ed and Gladys Gould on January 3, 1934, in Ainsworth, Nebraska. He spent most of his younger years in Ronan, Montana, moving to Salina in 1952. He was in the Army 1953-1955 and served in Korea. He and his wife, Delores were married November 13, 1955. He was an electrician for 40 years with International Brotherhood of Electrical workers, working for Webb Johnson Electric, 31 years, Swander Electric and DRCL Electric. Following retirement in 1996 he worked part time for Waters True Value.
He was a member of Heartland Worship Center A/G serving on the Church Board and Sunday School staff for several years. He was a former member of Saline County Rod and Gun Club and Cross Roaders Camping Club. All his life, Bob’s favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Delores; parents, Ed and Gladys Gould; brothers, Paul Gould, Aubrey Gould, and Don Gould; sisters, Naomi, and Esther; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include his three sons, Michael Gould (Amanda), of Corpus Christi, TX, Robert E. Gould (Mandy), of Loveland, CO, and Wesley Gould (Darcie), of Salina; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 East Crawford Street, Salina.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 5, at Heartland Worship Center, 118 South Eighth Street, Salina, with Pastor Danny Sartan as officiant. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
