MCPHERSON - A 13-year-old student was taken into custody after allegedly threatening violence against McPherson Middle School Monday.
Earlier today, the department received a report from McPherson Middle School administration that a 13-year-old student threatened to commit violence at the school, according to a post this evening on the department's Facebook page.
"The McPherson Police Department took the student into custody. At this time, there is no danger to students or the school. A report will be forwarded to the McPherson County Attorney’s Office for review," the department reported.
