ABILENE - The Brethren in Christ churches of Abilene are presenting Lew Sterrett's Sermon On The Mount Saturday.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo Arena at the Dickinson Country Fairgrounds, and is open to the public at no charge. An ice cream social is scheduled to follow.
The event is sponsored by LifeHouse Church, Zion BIC, Abilene BIC, and New Trail Fellowship.
This community-wide event is fun and engaging for the entire family as Sterrett teaches lessons of life and leadership from the language of the horse. Watch Sterrett demonstrate, live in the arena, how we can effect healthy change in ourselves, individuals, families, and even business.
At Sermon On The Mount, you will experience for yourself the amazing transformation while Sterrett reaches into and impacts the heart of a horse, your own heart will be touched as well.
Sterrett is a certified youth, family, marriage counselor. He holds a master’s degree in divinity and a doctorate in leadership training. He is also the recipient of many prestigious awards, including from the Moody Bible Institute - Most Influential People.
