UPDATE 1:30 p.m. Wednesday:&nbsp;Blowing dust from damaging wind gusts will create hazardous travel conditions across central and parts of south-central Kansas, according to the National Weather Service.

The damaging wind gusts will also cause downed tree limbs, downed power lines, and property damage, the National Weather Service noted.

Satellite imagery shows blowing dust (pink colors) over western Kansas spreading eastward. 

Damaging wind gusts will affect all of western Kansas into central and south-central Kansas this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
