More Than You Think Scholarship: OCCK supporting students with disabilities across north central Kansas

OCCK, Inc. is now accepting applications for the 2026 “More Than You Think” Scholarship, supporting students with disabilities across North Central Kansas as they pursue post-secondary education.

Established in 2020 as part of OCCK’s 50th anniversary, the scholarship reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to expanding opportunities and strengthening rural communities. The program continues to invest in students working toward their future through education.

For 2026, OCCK will award 10 students with $1,250 scholarships, with recipients selected after the application review process.

Who Can Apply

The scholarship is open to students who:

- Are residents of: Saline, Ottawa, Cloud, Republic, Jewell, Mitchell, Lincoln, Ellsworth, or Dickinson counties

- Have a disability.

- Plan to enroll in a post-secondary program, including college, university, community college, technical school, or other credentialed program

Applicants are considered based on residency, financial need, and educational goals.

For the first time, applicants can complete the process online through a streamlined application.

Application Details

To be considered, applicants must submit:

- A completed application.

- Two letters of reference

All materials must be submitted by June 15, 2026.

Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution.
