Gary Lee Champion, 33, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Gary was born in Gillette, Wyoming to Doug and Sheila (Stovall) Champion.
Gary was a customer service representative at Rent One. He enjoyed fishing, demolition derby, and especially loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gary and Sharon Stovall and LeRoy and Louise Champion; infant cousin Adam Armstrong; and aunt Marsha Stovall.
Gary is survived by his son,Dakota Champion; life partner Liz Gimeson; stepchildren Kaden Dalten, Ariel, and Sabaschyn; parents Doug and Sheila Champion; brothers Doug Champion Jr., Allen Lee; sisters Melissa Champion, Jamie Gillenwater, Crystal Champion; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021 with a celebration of life service following at 3 p.m. all at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
