
Oscar Garza passed away at Salina Regional Health Center Monday January 19, 2026. Oscar was born January 31 1957 in Toledo Ohio the son of Estanislado “Jim” Garza and Patricia Garza. After graduating high school Oscar served in the United States Army. Oscar married Crimson Worthen in Abilene on April 16, 1988 together they made their home in Abilene.
Oscar worked in several professions but his love was driving a truck. Oscar is survived by his wife Crimson of the home, his daughter Amber Immel (Tyrell Immel), his sons Daniel Garza (Partner Eric Boltz) and Adam Garza. Oscar is also survived by his brother Lalo, and his Step brother Perry as well as his sister Ester and his mother and father in law Hollis and Lucy Worthen. Oscar was the proud grandpa to Atlas, Jameson, Nevaeh, Potter, Piper, Salem and Sagen.
Oscar was proceeded in death by his parents as well as his sister Alicia and step sisters Jenny, and Linda, step brothers Jeff and Jerry.
There will be no funeral service. A family visitation with the family present will be held Friday January 23, 2026 at the Danner Funeral Home 501 N. Buckeye from 5 to 7pm. The family suggests memorials be made to the family in the name of Crimson Garza. and left in care of the funeral home.
