Windows broken, pumpkins damaged Sunday

Windows were broken and pumpkins damaged in downtown Salina Sunday afternoon.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that the following three related incidents were reported to police by witnesses shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday.

●A window was broken at McKenna Law Office, 114 S. Seventh Street. The window was valued at $500.

●A window was broken in a building at 143 S. Eighth Street that belongs to Kenneth C. Stephenson Trust. The window was valued at $500.

●Pumpkins were damaged at the Smoky Hill Museum, 211 W. Iron Avenue. Damage was estimated at $20.

Forrester said Michael Fagan, 60, was arrested in connection to the incidents.

According to the Saline County Jail booking report, Fagan is from Wichita and was arrested on requested charges of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass.
