SALINA, KS - Alvie Mack Furbeck, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 29, 2022. Alvie was born January 23, 1948 in Ellis, Kansas to Blair W. and Zona (McCurdy) Furbeck.
He was a retired Kansas state trooper and former U.S. Marine. Alvie was a member of the Marine Corps League, Kansas Masionic Lodge, Kansas Peace Officer Association, VFW and American Legion in Salina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marilyn K. (Zerfas) Furbeck; and a brother, Kelly Furbeck.
Alvie is survived by a son, Sean (Kim) Furbeck, Salina; daughter Lisa Furbeck, Salina; grandchildren Steven Furbeck and Mackenzie Furbeck both of Salina; and a great-grandson, Brody Furbeck, Salina.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ellis. There will be no visitation.
