Snow is expected across much of the area for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. 

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita reported that the heaviest snow is expected across south-central Kansas, where 3 to 6 inches is possible. 

One to three inches is expected across the rest of central and southern Kansas.
