Helen Phillips, 85, of Salina, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at KU Medical Center. She was born in Ellis, KS, the daughter of Matt and Regina Augustine. On October 29, 1966 she married William Phillips.

She worked as a surgical RN. Helen enjoyed quilting, researching family genealogy, her family and faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, brothers Elmer and Leo Augustine, and sister Betty Oakes.

Survivors include son Donald (Diana) Phillips, three brothers Alvin Augustine, Virgil Augustine, Irvin Augustine and two sisters Sr. Mary Augustine and Marcie Goodwin.

Visitation will be held October 8, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held October 9, 2020 at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan Mortuary.
