Salina woman accused for home burglary before arrest on Monday morning.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on May 4 at around 10:00 am, officers responded to a residential burglary in north Salina.
Contact was made with a 66-year-old male resident, who reported he was mowing and left the door to his residence unsecured. He reported a female, identified as 38-year-old Deliah Ross, of Salina, had walked into his home without permission, took his phone and a can of pop.
A 70-year-old female resident attempted to stop Ross from taking the items, but was unable to.
The male resident came in contact with Ross and pushed her out of the residence. He was able to obtain his phone back.
Ross was still on the scene when officers arrived and was arrested for the requested charges of Aggravated Burglary and Theft.
