OPENING STATEMENT: “Alright, as far as the injuries go, (CB Mansoor) Delane didn't practice today, and we'll just see how he does here going forward. I don't have anything listed whether he's in or out, so we'll see where he's at after this practice. (DE) R Mason (Thomas) was not there for personal reasons, but he'll be at the game. He'll meet us there in Denver. Look forward to the challenge of playing the Broncos. Good football team, we know that. Great atmosphere for a game. The guys have had a good week of practice, and I know they look forward to the challenge of playing the Broncos. With that, time's yours.”
Q: Are you optimistic that WR Rashee Rice will be up?
REID: “Yeah.”
Q: Was it the same shoulder that was injured previously for CB Mansoor Delane in practice?
REID: “Yeah, same shoulder.”
Q: Do you expect DE R Mason Thomas to play on Sunday?
REID: “Yes.”
Q: What does Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper bring to the defense?
REID: “Yeah, (Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper) he brings a lot of energy. He's a good football player, Pro Bowl caliber football player. That's what he is, good football player."
Q: Just to confirm, will it be K Harrison Butker kicking this weekend?
REID: “Yes.”
Q: I know it's week to week always with you guys.
REID: “Day-to-day if you really want to be. That's just life (laughter).”
Q: Does this one feel a little bit different though, with the standings?
REID: “I look at it, those are two good football teams having a chance to play each other. That's how I look at it, that are AFC West rivals. In a great environment. That's what it's all about. That's why we do this.”

C CREED HUMPHREY
Q: On the importance of the game against the Broncos.
HUMPHREY: “Yeah, I think any time you're facing a divisional opponent, there's a little bit more to it. So, we're fired up. We're ready to go put some more stuff on film. Last week wasn't our best stuff on film, so we're ready to get back after it.”
Q: How do you change what happened in Seattle?
HUMPHREY: “Yeah, just a focus through the week during practices, a relentless focus showing up, doing your job every single day to the best of your ability.”
Q: On how to face an opponent after beating them the first time.
HUMPHREY: “(Denver Broncos) They're a great defense. We know they’re going to give their best shot this game, so we're fired up for the challenge. They present a lot of challenges. They have great players all over the field, so it's going to be a good challenge. And for us, it's just our focus is on how we control our game plan, how we do our assignments. That's what our focus is.”
DL PETER WOODS
Q: In what ways do you think you've grown so far since becoming a pro?
WOODS: “I think I've grown a lot, just finding different ways to learn how to prepare for the game. This will be my first time playing another team that I've played twice, so just the preparation standpoint and just knowing my matchups going into the game before that, it feels a little different, so just continuing to learn how to prepare.”
Q: Is there a difference between a professional loss and a college loss?
WOODS: “To be honest, it was rather interesting being in the locker room and stuff and just listening to some of the things that some of the leaders were kind of reiterating about just getting back on track and getting hit in the mouth and figuring out what we can do to be better. I think one of the older guys gave me some advice. He's like, ‘Whenever you lose a game, that's when you should look in your personal mirror the most and figure out how you can figure out how you can benefit the team to get a win,’ and I feel like if everybody does that, then everybody will have a collective mindset to go in and get it done the next game.”
Q: What's Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and Defensive Line Coach Joe Cullen's message this week about Broncos QB Bo Nix and trying to make sure that he can't hurt you with his legs?
WOODS: “Oh, yeah. (Broncos QB) Bo Nix, tremendous quarterback, very athletic, got a lot of tools. Really just being coordinated. I feel like as a D-line, if we do what we're supposed to do and stay coordinated and rush together, and like I said, that comes with especially new players, that comes with reps and repetition, something I think that we're grinding at and getting better at on a daily. So just being able to execute that, thought we did a really good job of that in our first game, playing that same quarterback with those great athletic tools, so just going out and executing the game plan, and I feel like it should be good.”
RB EMMETT JOHNSON
Q: What's the prep been like when you played the Broncos before?
JOHNSON: “Yeah, obviously just going back and watching the film from that game and then also some of the other games they've played afterwards. As you guys know, in the NFL it's hard to beat every team but also beat them twice. So just going into the film room and then learning from our mistakes and things that we can get better from last time and then going from there.”
Q: How did your first loss feel and what did you learn from it?
JOHNSON: “Yeah, we learned a lot. I feel like you always learn a lot from losing, and it's just a little bit of adversity but everybody's positive. Everybody knows that we're capable of playing better than what we did last game. I feel like everybody just came together as a team, and we know we're going to have to bounce back this week because we've got another good opponent and it's another away game.”
Q: How much more acclimated do you feel now over Week 1?
