SALINE COUNTY - An earthquake was reported to have occurred in Saline County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake happened at approximately 2:14 pm on Wednesday, three miles east of Assaria.
Reportedly, the quake had a very shallow depth of 9.1 km (5.6 mi) and was felt by many near the epicenter.
According to Saline County Sheriff's dispatch, there has been no reported injuries.
