The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has announced the closing of part of E. Magnolia Road for culvert work.
E Magnolia Road between S. Whitmore Road and S. Kipp Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday for replacement of cross-road drainage culverts.
Weather permitting, the roadway should be opened by Sept. 17, 2021.
Motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
