Randall A. Carrier, 72, of Salina, KS passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. He was born in Salina, to Ray Allen and Royce Gaye (Linsenmayer) Carrier, on March 1, 1952. He married Margaret A. McMahon, on January 15, 1972.
Randy had a confident and forthright personality. His directness and openness in expressing his thoughts made him reliable, a committed business owner, a kind-hearted individual, and a caring husband, father, and friend. In many aspects of his life, Randy exemplified what it meant to live with authenticity and purpose. His legacy was not just in the success of his business but in the lives he touched and the positive impact he made on those around him, especially as a North Salina Businessman.
Randy loved spending time outdoors at their residence north of Salina, as well as going to the lake with friends. He was always ready to grab a slalom ski and take a run, regardless of the temperature.
He is survived by his wife, Margie, at home, sons Jason Carrier and his wife Clara Lucia in Naperville, IL, and Nathan Carrier and his wife Lindsey in Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by grandsons Nicolas Carrier, Benton Carrier, Beckett Carrier, and Ethan Carrier, step-sister Rita Macy and her husband Bob in Abilene and step-mother Shirley Carrier.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Shawn Bartow.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 15 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth Street, Salina, Kansas.
The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Weber as celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of the Heartland.
