
Bill Klug, 75, of Solomon, passed away at his home, Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was born November 14, 1944, to Harold and Berdena (Fawkes) Klug in Casper, Wyoming.
Bill retired from KPL/Westar after 36 years as an Electric Substation Foreman. After retirement he began his own business, ProLawn Care, providing landscaping services and snow removal at Fort Riley. He loved baseball and was the pitching coach for American Legion Baseball (1990 - 1992), Salina South High School (1991 - 1994), Kansas Wesleyan University (1995 - 2005), Junior Legion Baseball (1997), and honorary pitching coach for Bemidji State, Bemidji, Minnesota.
Bill is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ann; children, Greg Klug (Sheri), Denet Smith, Amber Atchison (Chance), Tyler Klug; Ann's children, Sara Rempel (Robert), and Christopher Osborne; siblings, Diane Hill, Pam Thomason (Jim), Herb Klug (Robin), Suzanne Scheuch (Richard), Mark Klug; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, at Emmanuel Foursquare Christian Church, 1325 E. Cloud, Salina.
