Wichita, KS - The Wichita Wind Surge and Minnesota Twins announced today that Andrew Cossetti has been selected as the recipient of the organization’s Harmon Killebrew Award, the annual Community Service Award, recognizing his outstanding commitment to making a positive impact in the Wichita community throughout the 2026 season.
Throughout the season, Cossetti has consistently gone above and beyond to give his time to local organizations, youth programs and community initiatives. He participated in charitable events, and meeting with fans. Cossetti has demonstrated that his impact extends well beyond the baseball field.
“Andrew Cossetti is a Community Champion in Wichita. Andrew has made an outstanding commitment to making a positive difference both on and off the field. He has made a connection with our Wind Surge fans and the local Air Force base and has been generous with his time. Congrats to Andrew Cossetti on being named the Harmon Killebrew Community Service Award Winner. His leadership, generosity and passion make him a deserving recipient of this special award.” said Matt Hamilton, Wichita Wind Surge General Manager.
Each season all of the Minnesota Twins Minor League affiliates name a winner of the Harmon Killebrew award. Killebrew played 22 seasons in the Major League’s and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984 and was known as a great community champion.
The Wind Surge host Frisco next week in the final series of the 2026 season September 8 – 13th. The team will have a great week of promotions including three consecutive drone shows Thursday – Saturday.
