GYPSUM - A small earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County Thursday evening.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Gypsum at 7:28 p.m. Thursday. It was centered just east pf S. Niles Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.
