The bi-weekly review of the county's COVID-19 situation and items related to the new jail project are on the agenda for the Saline County Commission meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.
During the meeting, commissioners are scheduled to review with Jason Tiller, health department director, the COVID-19 situation in Saline County in an effort to determine whether to keep in place the county's face mask mandate.
Commissioners also are scheduled to consider a resolution for the imposition of sales tax for the new jail project and the authorization for design and construction services for the project.

Immediately following the meeting, commissioners are scheduled to canvass county votes from the general election.
