A wind advisory is in effect for some counties in our area Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday for the following counties in our area.
Ellsworth County
Lincoln County
McPherson County
Saline County
South winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Please use caution if driving a high profile vehicle on a west to east oriented road.

Wednesday will be warm and windy with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
Sustained southerly wind speeds are expected to be from 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph with the highest values west of Interstate 135.
Driving could be challenging on east and west running roadways especially for high profile vehicles. Secure any loose outdoor objects.
