WICHITA, Kan. - Kansas Wesleyan Women's Track and Field finished fourth at the KCAC Championships on Thursday and Friday at Adair Austin Stadium, hosted by Friends University.
The 4x800m relay team of Shelby Lingle, Hailey Nordhus, Delaney Bond and Kirstin Hackney was the KCAC Champion with a time of 9:26.01.
In the Steeplechase Makayla Little was second with a time of 11:46.78.
In the javelin, Maddy Wolf was second with a mark of 39.17m and Aunisty McNeal was seventh with a mark of 31.07m.
Kirstin Hackney was second in the 1500m with a time of 4:42.56, Joni Schroeder was seventh in 4:52.73 and Emma McAlister was ninth in 5:16.01.
In the 5000m, Makayla Little was second with a time of 18:24.32, Kierra Jensen was fifth in 18:49.33 and Micah Dickens was sixth in 18:53.51.
In the high jump, Corinne Hall and Paige Smith tied for third with a mark of 1.59m, Tamia Cheeks was 10th with a mark of 1.54m and Trinity Windle was 13th with a mark of 1.49m.
In the shot put Elizabeth Stout was third with a mark of 12.24m, Aunisty McNeal was 15th with a mark of 10.76m and Jadyn Mabry was 19th with a mark of 10.28m.
In the 10000m, Micah Dickens was third with a time of 37:44.24.
Delaney Bond led the KWU finishers in the 800m in third with a time of 2:20.08. Hailey Nordhus was fifth in 2:21.00, Shelby Lingle was sixth in 2:23.06, Ava Kenyon was seventh in 2:23.52, Lauryn Mikkelson was 10th in 2:26.14, Joni Schroeder was 11th in 2:30.57 and Emma McAlister was 20th in 2:39.90.
The 4x400m relay team of Emorie McNabb, Delaney Bond, Kirstin Hackney and Hailey Nordhus finished fourth with a new school record time of 4:00.56.
In the discus Aunisty McNeal was fourth with a mark of 39.44m, Elizabeth Stout was 17th with a mark of 31.04m, Jadyn Mabry was 23rd at 28.68m and Roselyn Torres was 24hh at 25.58m.
The 4x100m relay team of Corinne Hall, Emorie McNabb, Paige Smith and Dahn Hanlon was fifth with a time of 50.41 seconds.
Elizabeth Stout was sixth in the hammer with a mark of 40.39m and Roselyn Torres was 23rd in 28.64m.
In the long jump, Corinne Hall was eighth with a mark of 5.23m and Dahn Hanlon was 17th with a mark of 4.69m.
In the 100m hurdles, Tamia Cheeks placed ninth with a time of 15.51 seconds.
Emorie McNabb was 11th in the 100m with a time of 12.71 seconds.
In the triple jump Dahn Hanlon was 13th with a mark of 9.70m.
