The City of Salina has announced that part of Centennial Road will closed next week.
On Monday, Burns & McDonnell Engineering will begin work to install new storm water culverts across Centennial Road at the intersection of Arnold Avenue. Centennial Road will be closed to through traffic north of Wall Street and south of W. Schilling Road. Arnold Avenue will be closed to all traffic east of Scanlan Avenue.
Passengers needing to reach the Salina Regional Airport terminal and surrounding businesses will have access via Arnold Avenue from W. Schilling Road from the north and Scanlan Avenue from the south
Weather permitting, the intersection will be opened by June 7, the city noted in a news release.
